Hello!

In my Easymesh WiFi network I have many devices (cameras, smart plugs, HIFI, Chromecast, ROKU, server, alarm, etc).
Many of them I access via their IP-address.

But since many of the devices are connected o WiFi via RE450 the IP-address has often changed.

I can not find a way to reserve IP-addresses to a certain MAC in the extenders.

Anyone in her that can explain to me how I can reserve/bind in the extender?

Thanks!

Hi,

This sounds like there is more than one active DHCP server inside your EasyMesh network.

Assuming you've setup DHCP Address Reservations on the main router of your EasyMesh network, make sure that DHCP servers of other devices within the same network are switched off. (as otherwise you would need to define all address reservations on every DHCP server)

I believe the default setting for "DHCP Server" on the RE450 is "Auto", but in this case you might want to set it to "Off" to make sure it is indeed off.
