I moved into this apartment 6 weeks ago and have been given a range extender by tp - not sure the model. I can connect to the wifi and can send messages and WhatsApp but it refuses to let me use the internet. It will not let me go to Google or anything. I reset the router and changed the primary and secondary dns. What can I do to fix this problem? About to pull my hair from my head this is so frustrating!

What kind of settings are available on your landlord's (unknown) router model is impossible to tell. Every manufacturer does things differently.
I think it would be best to have the landlord himself look at the problem with his range extender. If he got it working previously, then he should know what to do to make it work again.
