Hi all,

 

I have TL-WPA8630P KIT setup which is sending fibre to my cabin through an armored electrics cable from my home which is on the main circuit.

 

Since moving from 75mb to 1000mb Fibre this week, I notice that I am only getting max 130mb DL and 130mb UL in my cabin on both my PS5 Hard Wired & Computer Hard wired to the TL-WPA8630P KIT

 

I downloaded the TP PLC Utility and its showing 630mbps between the two (which I can live with). But the speedtests are only showing the above.

 

Before I simply put these in the bin and hard wire to my cabin (20metres away) directly into my router. Is there anything I am missing?

Hi, please click the top device icon on tpPLC utility and check the powerline rate of another direction to see if it is similar powerline rate.

 

Inside your home, if you connect directly to your router via Ethernet cable, what is the speed you can get?

 

In addition, the firmware version 2.2.3.32-00_863112_170509_902 is for the powerline adapter TL-PA8010P, right?

What about the firmware version of the powerline extender TL-WPA8630P?

Hi,

 

Both sit around 600mbps, going each way.

 

- Firmware version 2.2.3.32-00_863112_170509_902 is for the powerline adapter TL-PA8010P,

 

- Firmware version 2.2.3.32-00_801132_170607_902 is for the powerline adapter TL-WPA8630P,

 

Hardwired directly into my laptop gives me 700mbps

Hi, please download the latest firmware TL-WPA8630P(EU)_V2_2.0.5 Build 20230428 on our official website for TL-WPA8630P and update the firmware to see if the speed can be improved:
