Hi guys,

I am having issue with the color at night, the area has a street light that is preventing the camera from going into IR mode, which is fine but camera is not detecting humans at all at night in this mode, everything works fine during the day but once night comes the camera cannot detect humans at all. The client requires to be able to detect humans as it is a residential area.

Has anyone else had simular issues to this? would turning "off" night vision sort this issue as I dont want to visit the client again until I have a good solution.

There is also another camera that is in a darker location that goes into IR mode and can detect humans so I know the issue is something to do with the camera not been able to go into full IR mode due to street lighting. I was wearing dark clothes when testing this but a burglar is also going to be wearing dark clothes, so this needs to work either way.

Hi @iTrim

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Adjust the angle to avoid that strong light in the night. That'll sacrifice some area.

Force the camera to go into IR mode by schedule. Stay in the current camera position. You can turn off the Illuminator and test the result. This might not be ideal as the light may affect the image in IR(overexposure).

Don't see any way to fix this.
