I have web password but forgot local password - any workaround other than reset
I can get into my setting via the web name and password feature, but I cannot use tether app without knowing local password. I forgot local password. Once i am logged in, to change local password I need to know the old one. Is there any way around this besides resetting it?

Hi,
I noticed that the configuration section for the "Password Recovery" feature is also accessible when logged in using the TP-Link ID credentials.
So you could setup "Password Recovery" and then see if you can reset the local password via the "Forgot Password?" option on the login screen.
