Hello Folks,

I am in a strange situation wherein two of the sites (one with 7 APs and second with 3 APs) running on OC300 will have issues only with apple devices (iphones, ipads, macbooks). Device will connect, then after few seconds, will disconnect. I have tried firmware upgrade on EAP225 to latest, as also OC300 to latest, but issue remains. If I disable 5Ghz radio, then no issues with connection to 2.4Ghz. And same happens if I disable 2.4Ghz. Essentially if we have two radios enabled, then apple devices have issues, but with a single radio on, no issues. We did observe this issue last year when we deployed these sites and at that time, we assumed it is apple related issues and there might be some new OS / fix to resolve it. Also at that time, customer had not moved in to these buildings and we had disabled 5Ghz radio (as they have some 2.4Ghz only devices / sensors).

Support has not been able to reporduce this issue. I have multiple sites with EAP225v3 and v4 and no such issues. Also no issues with EAP6xx series of APs. Likely 225 v5 hardware has different chipset and that could be the issue.

I have tried disabling all advanced features and 802.11r was disabled as it is not supported anyway on these APs.

Anyone else experienced this type of issue please?

Thanks
