I have a problem. Once or two times in a week my internet connection is losing. It is being fixed by power off and after Power on OR Restart by mobile application. There is no written problem in deco application in mobile. There is no problem by internet provider.

Hi,

 

How about the light status on the Deco units when the internet drops?

 

Please change the DNS settings on Deco. 

And you can also test different Ethernet cable and Ethernet ports.

Thanks your interest Light status is not changing , it is always green. I tried different cables. Actually I m using just dsl cable. So you want me try to DNS setting. What should it be ? is there any reccomandation ?

I tried but still problem is going on. I m bored. Why is this happennig. Suddenly internet is losing without any error or message. it is being fixed restart. Whyyyy

why am ı getting so much error with deco? 

I was delighted with my 8 years old tp link modem. Just I want to try deco but ı m totally regret.

Hi,

Thanks for your information.

 

I regret that I didn't make it clear.

For your case, please change the DNS here: More>Advanced>DHCP server. And please change primary DNS to 8.8.8.8 and the secondary DNS to 8.8.4.4.

 

If you have another DSL line, you can also test it.

İ m happy with your care. But when i Change my dns , my internet speed is slowing. And i tried another dsl line there is no change. 

İ have an advice. Some other modem have a feature in their interface which is like "restart between 3 am and 5 am" . İf there is like this feature in your interface it would be beneficial. 

 

İ m still waiting for your another advices...

The only way I’ve been able to fix it is by either powering off the Deco units and turning them back on, or by restarting them through the mobile app. The Deco app itself doesn’t show any errors or issues, and my internet provider has confirmed there are no problems on their end.

Then problem is just about deco modem. Am i right. İf i understood correctly i will send my modem to warranty. Because this problem is not acceptable.

  @arda_alc on my x50-5g there is a setting "reboot schedule" that will do what you want.
