Hi,

 

I was previously able to detect and connect to my EB810v with Tether on Android.

 

However, after updating it to v4.10.42, it does not detect the EB810v but just detect it as "TP-Link Router". 

Now I am unable to see or connect to it via the app.

 

I also have an Extender and managed both from the same app.

 

Has TP-LINK removed support for the starhub or customised EB810v version from the Tether app?

 

Is there a way to get the Tether to detect the EB810v again like in the earlier version of Tether?

EB810v is a customized device specifically designed for local Service Providers.  You should setup Your Network via TP-Link Aginet App. More details, you can refer to EB810v_User Guide

  @Joseph-TP  Thank you for the clarification.

 

Guess I don't have a choice then. 

 

It was a lot easier to manage both the extender and router with 1 app instead of 2.
