Model: EAP670
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

I'm trying to install a new EAP673 (aka EAP670 V2).

I managed to give the device an IP address with my dhcp server.

I can ping the device, but cannot connect on tcp ports 80 or 443.

A capture showed that SYN packets arrive and are ignored.

Instead, the AP sends broadcasts on UDP port 29810 (searching for OMADA controller).

Any suggestion ?

It is very simple, you just have to know that, out of the box, the AP accepts only http connections from clients in its subnet.

Once you reach the web management page, you can reconfigure the device as you want.

Hi  @hullos

Do you use an Ethernet cable to plug the EAP into your router?

Can you access to the Internet when connecting to the EAP's SSID?

How do you plan to manage the EAP? via the standalone interface? or with an Omada controller?

Below is a guide on how to manage it via EAP standalone page:

How do I login to the web management page of the EAP Series products (Standalone mode)?
