DHCP - Fixed IP Settings won't work
DHCP - Fixed IP Settings won't work

Hey there,
I am facing a very hard time trying to get fixed IP adresses working.
Nearly all my devices do not change their IP adress if I assign a static one. They will always get the one the initially got via DHCP when I replug the cable.
I tried everything - Forget, ban, unban the device etc.
What else can I do?
Thanks

Are you assigning the static IP addresses on the devices or are you assigning a reserved IP address on the DHCP server?
Static IP addresses assigned on the device will usually take effect when you reboot the device. If you are using reserved IP addresses, the current address may not change until its lease period expires.

Okay, so it was caused by an "old" TL-SG108E which was set to a static IP and messed up all the IPs of devices behind it. I set it to use DHCP and now all IP addresses have been correctly applied by Omada.

It's still an issue. Devices connected to a switch (SG3428X-M2 v1.20) at a port configured with profile "All" will not receive an IP address outside of the "Default" VLAN.
Does DHCP not work for tagged networks?
Profile "All" contains all networks:
Profile "All" is assigned to the port:
The static IP is set and the wanted VLAN is assigned:
But the device stays in the "Default" Network and gets an IP within the subnet.

Do you have any switches between the router and the SG3428X-M2?
also check that the link port on SG3428X-M2 has profile all

No, the Switch is connected via port 2 to LAN4 of the router.
Port 2 is the router and port 10 is the one the devices are connected to. Between port 2 and the devices is an old TL-SG108E switch which should not change anything and the problem with the device also persist if I remove the switch.
