Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version: 20

   Iam using model-TL-wr840N(ME) wifi router but now days problem is some apps not working in mobile eg : Imo, Bank apps , VPN apps etc. this problem started before one week.

Please help someone me

For your case, here are some suggestions:
1. Check if the issue is related to your Internet Service Provider (ISP):
• For websites, disconnect your router from the modem and connect your PC directly to the modem. Try accessing the problematic apps or websites. If they still do not work, the issue may be with your ISP.
• For mobile apps, if possible, reconnect your old router to the modem and see if the apps work. This helps determine if the issue is specific to your TP-Link router.

 

2. Ensure there is no VPN or network proxy enabled on your mobile device.

 

3. Change the DNS server on your TP-Link router:
• Open the Tether app, go to MORE > Internet Connection, and set the DNS server to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8.
• After updating the DNS server, reconnect your device to the Wi-Fi network to make sure the new settings take effect.

 

4. Check Parental Control settings:
• Make sure there are no content filters or website/app blocking rules enabled that might be affecting access.
