Hello@pauls-garage1 ,

Would you mind telling me the model of your extender? We recommend referring to the User Guide of the corresponding model for details.

For example, if the model is RE505X(EU)_V1,  you can refer to RE505X(EU)_V1_User Guide.

 

@Vendex  If it is a newer version of the Range extender, you only need to press the reset hole for 1 second to reset it.

You’ll need to reset the extender to factory settings if you forgot the login password. Hold the RESET button for about 10 seconds until the LEDs flash, then set it up again via http://tplinkrepeater.net and create a new password.
