In apartment i live in i am connected to DSL 250Mb/s internet using modem provided by ISP: speedport smart 4 which is wifi6 capable device. On second floor of that apartment i have a room where i have a bunch of devices, some of them can connect over wifi, some require ethernet connection and do not have wifi option. I can't plug wire ethernet cable through floor/ceiling from ground floor to top floor so i need a device that will receive wifi from modem and at the same time share this connection over wifi and ethernet.

I have available tplink ex220 but seems like it is unable neither to extend wifi nor create easymesh with speedport smart 4.

Hello @spectatorx,

Welcome to our community.

As far as I know, the EX220 is an EasyMesh-compatible router. Please click here.

We have TP-Link EasyMesh Devices for Home. You can select one of them if you need.

Please note:

Theoretically, TP-Link EasyMesh will work with any EasyMesh-certified products due to the standardized EasyMesh technology. However, EasyMesh networking methods can vary based on the manufacturers, we highly recommend using TP-Link EasyMesh products together to ensure the best performance and full compatibility.

For more details, please refer to General questions about EasyMesh.
