Hi Omada Team,

I would like to request an expansion of the predefined manufacturer list and the device icon library in the Omada Controller (v6.1.x). As our homes and offices become smarter, the current selection is no longer sufficient for professional network mapping. 

 

1. Requested Manufacturers to add: It would be very helpful to have popular European and specialized brands included by default. Here are some examples with their websites for reference:

  • Satel (Security systems)

  • Thessla Green (Ventilation and Heat recovery)

  • Nibe (Heating and Heat pumps)

  • Brother (Printers and Scanners)
     

2. Missing Device Icons: To better visualize the network clients, I am missing icons for the following devices:

  • Heat Recovery Unit 

  • Heat Pump 

  • Dome Camera 

  • Clothes Dryer

  • Oven 

  • Dishwasher

  • Microwave
     

Having these specific icons and brands would greatly improve the user experience and dashboard clarity for many users.

  • Reolink (Security Cameras)

 

2. Missing Device Icons: 

  • IP Telephone
