I'm trying to connect my Decos X75 as access points all using the Ethernet backhaul. Decos are connected to the router and access point mode is on. But they are not connecting together via Ethernet, wifi connection between them is overriding the Ethernet connection. 

 

How can I solve this? I thought that they would automatically connect via the Ethernet connection and this would drive the backhaul.

 

I have reset the overall system and decos many times but it goes back to wifi backhaul.

Hi, welcome to the community.

May I know the model number of your main ISP router?

Would there be a network switch between the main router and Deco X75? If yes, can I have the model of the switch?

  @David-TP thank your for your prompt reply. 
 

My ISP has installed a Fortigate FG-60E so I have hooked up the Decos directly to its ports. 
 

I assume this is what's causing the problem but have no idea how to solve it.
