I have a TP-link W8960N v7 that reboots itself every now and then 

Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 171106 Rel.72267
Hardware Version: TD-W8960N V7 

 

And it will take almost 5 minutes to re stablish connection. The following is modem log:

I wonder, what is going on with it as of it is less than 2 years that I bought it. Also I should mention it that I had 3 other tp-link DSL Modem that each get rect almost after 3 years.

It is not in any surface (on the openning of the box so it can breath), but it is a bit hot to me !

try to reset the device and reconfigure it, if the same thing ,check if it's still in warranty for Repelacmeent.

try to reset, and do you have other power adapter, it might be the problem of the power adapter, try with a differnet power adapter, and test if you have the same issue, if yes, check if still in warranty and ask for a replacement.
