Model: Kasa
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

When a bright light, such as a car, shines its light into the camera lens, this causes the camera to record and send a notification.

Is there a way to modify the settings, to allow the camera not to record in this instance?

@Lee.

You can set activity zones if it is in a area where motion is not needed, there is also a setting in the privacy and security menu where you can tell the camera to record motion for X amount of seconds. If the light flash is quick adjust the time needed to be greater might help ignore those. I am not sure if lower the sensativity would help since the flash would be distinct.
