Model: Archer C1200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: C1200v1_eu_tm-up-1.0.0 Build 20180403 rel.22124_2018-04-03_14.13.08

Hi all,

I have C1200 wireless router. Its connected to Internet via PPPOE dialer. The internet is working fine and I have another router connected at LAN port. The problem i am facing is I have put the static route pointing to LAN port, but it is not installing this static route

My LAN IP is 192.168.0.0/24

The neighbor router IP is 192.168.0.6/24

So I put the static route;

192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0 point to 192.168.0.6

Please advice if i miss anything or any workaround I need to do?

Thank you for your help

Hi,

I have another tp-link router connected to LAN port 1;

My LAN IP is 192.168.0.0/24

The neighbor router IP is 192.168.0.6/24

So I put the static route;

192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0 point to 192.168.0.6.

The configuration is there, I can see it but it not been installed in active route. There is no fail error and i still cannot ping the other end of that subnet.

@Kevin_Z

I have a similar problem on a V1 Archer AX1500, firmware .0.8 Build 20200706 Rel. 7658(5553).  I can add routes in the add routes section and they become active and appear in the Routing Table when I "Refresh" the routing table.  When I reboot the system "automagically" early every Monday morning, the added routes disappear from the Routing table, but are still listed in the "Add Routes" section.  (This also happens when I manually reboot the system, or the system loses power).  To add the routes back to the Routing Table, I have to disable the route, re-enable it and refresh the Routing Table.  I don't have to re-enter them, just disable and re-enable with the little slider on the right. It would be great if I didn't have to remember to refresh, since I have some services that require the routes.  The routes are going out the WiFI do a routing device, not the wired LAN.

@George_D

Hello,

It seems that there is a display issue with the Routing Table, we will soon confirm this and get back.

BTW, we will send you an email to follow it up, please check your email box and respond if you are willing to, thanks.

I think it is more than just a  "display issue".  The routing does not work unless the route appears in the "Routing Table". This is how I orgingally noticed the problem.

Thanks for your support

Hello, @Kevin_Z ,

I would like to report the same problem and seeking for your help.

I've got Archer C1200 v1.0, Firmware version: 1.0.0 Build 20180502 rel.45702 (EU).

So i've got the main TP-Link router AC1200 (192.168.0.0/24) and need to point it to subnet (192.168.144.0/24) through the local device 192.168.0.2.

The route has been added, but i it doesn't go though, even though i can ping the gate 192.168.0.2.

Looking forward for your help.

Thank You.

@Aboodi No, i haven't. TP Link seems ignoring me, i see they helped other people, but apparently can't help us.I also contacted the support, they eventually pointed me to Time or TM (ISP) saying that they do not support their custom firmware. Tried my luck with ISP, they say that they are responsible only for the Internet, like your Internet works, then what else are you expecting from us.

I guess the way to fix it is to install the latest European firmware from TP Link website, then we can contact the support.

I still need it, but kind of left this idea hanging around for some time.

Try to contact TP Link support, maybe you wil get a luck. :)
