Archer C80 problem with latest Firmware 1.4.7 Build 200907 Rel.62218n (4555) in Access Point Mode
Regards to all,
I am using a Wi-Fi Router Archer C80 in Access Point Mode and since yesterday as I updated the new firmware 1.4.7 Build 200907 Rel.62218n (4555) there is a problem where in the setting in the section for Internet / Access Control there is no option for White List and is not visible, and only the Black List is visible.
On the previous firmware (Archer C80 (EU) _V1_200628) this problem does not exist and the White List and the Black List are visible!
Does anyone else have a similar problem?

Dear @PawelG123,
Is your version of the TP-Link Archer C80 for the European market or the USA?
I wrote to TP-Link support regarding this issue where they replied that the White List had been removed from the latest firmware because allegedly some users complained that it was causing problems and router crashes with earlier firmware versions.
Unfortunately, I didn't notice it in half a year of use.
You probably use the device in router mode, while I use it in Access point mode, so you have a White list in the settings! :)
Best regards.

Yes, I have EU version, and it is in router mode.

Blacklist only is useless!
How / when will this be fixed?

Thanks for the workaround, but no.
The C80 should fit into the existing network, not the other way round. I'm going to return the hardware for a refund.
I have got used to the older TL-WA-901ND as a fine piece of hard- and software, doing it's job without any problems for years.
Sadly, when reading through the support forum, it seems that tp-link has run into serious problems with their firmware development.
If there are problems with more or less usual features, it is likely that there hidden more problems and security flaws beneath the surface.
I have paid for the product, I will not beta test it.
Sorry for the harsh words, I know that this is not the supports fault or responsibility.

Thank you for your pertinent suggestion, we will take this into serious consideration and feedback to the development team.
If the current Archer C80 firmware cannot meet your needs, please return it to the store at your convenience.
Have a nice day.
