OC200: After Firmware update to 4.2.8 issues with client list
Hi,
I updated my OC200 to the new firmware 4.2.8 this morning.
Other devices in my network are
1 x TL-R605
1 x T1500G-8T
3 x EAP245
All running latest firmware.
SInce the update, the client list in the Dashboard is acting strange. I have about 18 clients. 9 are wired, the others are wireless.
The client list is refreshing from time to time (as expected), but many times, the wireless clients get listed as wired.
I then see 0 wireless and 18 wired clients.
This obviously makes the controller quite useless in terms of monitoring.
This issue was not observed with the 4.2.4 firmware.
Am I the only one seeing this?
Thanks,
Marc

Good Morning
I had the same issue when i updated, namely that wireless devices where appearing as wired.. upon checking they all appeared on the same port as the WiFi AP (EAP245)
This appears to have resolved itself following a 2nd reboot and some time passing, been around 4 days now with no more instances of this
Hopefully the same for you

Hi All,
For the problem that the wireless clients show as wired in Omada SDN controller, I've updated the result in this post.

@Fae ,
thanks a lot for the update. Good to know, engineering has already identified the issue.
Best,
Marc

just for completeness:
Fae wrote
One EAP245 is wire connected to the T1500G-8T, the other wired to the TL-R605 - Both are managed by the OC200 and reboots did not change the situation.

Marc
