Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hello,

I upgraded the firmware of my ER605 from V1.1.1beta to V1.2.0 today. The upgrade went through successfully, but after that IPTV via Telekom was no longer possible, after a short time there were always still images and an error message due to poor quality of the network connection. After resetting to the last beta of V1.1.1 everything went fine again.

In front of the ER605 I have a Fritzbox 7590, which passes everything on to the ER605 via exposed host. Weren't the changes from the beta carried over to V1.2.0?

I'm afraid that the changes from this Beta haven't carried over to the new V1.2.0 firmware.

After you upgrade to v1.2.0 firmware, did you try configuring the IPTV function for your IPTV service directly for checking?

Yes. I checked the necessary settings, switched off and on again to test, restarted the receivers and restarted the ER-605. Only the way back to the V1.1.1beta got IPTV up and running again.

After you upgrade to v1.2.0, you may configure the IPTV with Bridge mode, and set the port connected to Receiver as IPTV to have a try.

What device is the menu from? I cannot set a bridge mode in the Fritzbox. All devices are in my Omada network, the Fritzbox is only a telephone system and modem here and these points don't exist in the Omada system.

Sorry that I didn't notice that your ER605 is managed by Omada Controller. It's the menu from ER605 v1 1.2.0 in Standalone mode.

In Controller mode, configuring the IPTV function will need Omada Controller v5.1.

ER605 v1 1.2.0 firmware doesn't include the change of the Beta firmware in this post. But it has supported IPTV feature, I'm thinking that configuring the IPTV with Bridge mode on the ER605 V1 may also a fix for your case, trying to verify that with you.

I use the OC200 as Omada controller, which runs with V5.0.30. When is the update to V5.1 expected for testing?

Hello,

Finally the update to V5.1.7 for the OC200 has been released. I immediately updated it and then the ER602 to firmware V1.2.0. I then activated IPTV under Services/IPTV and set it to bridge mode. Turn on the TV and turn on the MR401. I waited anxiously for the picture and it came. It started normally, then came the stuttering, followed by a freeze frame and subsequent error message.

I tried different settings and combinations, but I couldn't get a smooth TV stream. Only downgrading the firmware of the ER605 to V1.1.1 worked again.

Have I missed something or is there still an error?

My network config currently looks like this: Fritzbox 7590 with a port release (exposed host) on the ER605 V1.0.
