Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0

I have 2 Internet Service Provider WAN1 (100MB) and WAN2(50MB) directly connected in TPLINK ER605 Omada Gigabit VPN Router and in port 5 use as a LAN and connect Unifi AC-LR AP.

 

But when i speed test on standalone system on LAN (Port-4) i got 150+ MB internet speed but on WiFi it shows just 40 - 50MB.

 

So kindly guide me is there is a configuration issue in Unifi AP OR anything i missed in TPLINK b/c in LAN the speed is upto the mark but on Wifi it is not.

Do you use the speedtest website to measure the speed?


To eliminate other interference factors, it is best to run speedtest on the same PC with the same cable to see what the WiFi speed is.

 

It is highly recommended to check separately to see what the negotiated rate is between the R605 and the AP, and then what the negotiated rate is between the AP and the client?
This will make it easier to locate the problem.
