TL-MR100 End Of Support?
I see last update was uploaded on 2021-07-14. Almost an year without any stable update. Is this an indication of end of support for the device? Are we stuck with issues for eternity? Do we need to consider moving to some other device or brand? Please suggest.

Hi, MR100 is not end of support, usually new firmware needs to be released when the previous firmware has some issues.
If there is any issue with the latest firmware 210601 on your MR100, please provide more details so that we could try to assist.

@Sunshine hello sunshine, there are lots of problems in router, and some features are missing...
1. Router does not fully support ipv6, as we can not change ipv6 dns and port forwarding for ipv6...also it filters ICMPV6 which is essential for ipv6...
2. Router does not has QOS, which lets us priortize traffic..
3. Router"s wifi auto disconnects when there is dynamic IP change in case of 3g/4g sim network.
4.unstable ping and ping spike even when pinging router.

@Sunshine As you can see from the replies in this thread, there are some unresolved issues. Also, beta version has been around for a few months now. Isn't that supposed to be released as stable version? We also don't have functionality to limit internet speed for connected devices even after requests. Issues with IPV6. Issues with 2GB download limit etc. All these issues remain with current stable version. Not everyone searches for beta versions in community threads.

Hi,
1. Do you mean the IPv6 Firewall enabled by default? there is only a beta firmware that could disable IPv6 Firewall on MR100, and we have reported it to related engineer for evaluation
2. Sorry, there is no plan to support QoS on MR100 at this moment, we will record it and report it to related engineer
3. Did you try to lock the WiFi channel and LTE band? disconnecting issue requires further information and debugging to locate the problem
4. It happens with wired connection or wireless only? if only wireless connection has the unstable ping issue, it might be caused by wireless interference. MR100 only supports 2.4GHz WiFi, and if there are many 2.4G signals nearby, there will be too much interference.

Hi,
1. By limiting internet speed, you mean bandwidth control or QoS, sorry for that there is no plan to support bandwidth control or QoS at the moment
2. By IPV6, the only beta firmware we have is the one with IPv6 Firewall on/off switch, if you mean something else, please provide more details
3. 2GB download issue: Yes, we have located the issue and the beta firmware has been confirmed to be able to solve the issue, we will double check if there will be a new firmware in near future.
