Hi,

I have an er605 as my main router and i connected vr400 as a wireless access point to it,
i configured the vr400 with inetrnet connection dynamic ip, i set the internal ip to 192.168.2.1 and enabled dhcp, however i would like to configure it to dhcp relay and get the dhcp from er605

how do i configure er605 to delegate the dhcp on 192.168.2.0/24, the er605 does already delegate dhcp over 192.168.0.1/24

If you want your er605 to be your main router and DHCP server, then you need to set VR400 with LAN IP address in 192.168.0.1/24 network (i.e. 192.168.0.254):

@terziyski thank you for this, it solved the issue

it also works without selecting the DHCP relay option, even if slower

1 more question if you don't mind, let's say I want to isolate the wifi network, i.e. have it on a different subnet using the er605 and vr400, how do I do it?
i believe I need to configure vlan right? i would appreciate help

Yes, that's correct. If you want to isolate VR400 traffic, you have to use VLANs on er605.
