I downgraded to 1.5.4 for some days ago, and it seems to have solved the problem for me. But I don't know if I miss any security updates, or something important by doing this.

@Renato_DM   I downloaded the firmware from this tp-links support page: https://www.tp-link.com/no/support/download/deco-m4/v1/#Firmware .Then i logged in to my router via my local ip address in a browser, then advanced- system- firmware update and uploaded the firmware file there. After a couple of minutes I had the old version again.:)

Thank you very much. I still don't understand why it takes them so long to release a patch

Faced the same problem when setting up an Internet provider - Mikrotik - Deco M4R V2
Technical support advised to downgrade to version 1.4.3 where disabled smart DHCP server

This solution was proposed a year ago, and the issue is still unresolved. TP-LINK is a terrible attitude to its customers.

1. The on/off switch for smart DHCP server will be added on firmware 1.6.0 and you could wait for a while for the new firmware.
2. Downgrade the firmware back to 1.4.3 and do not update the firmware before the release of official firmware 1.6.0.

How to downgrade the firmware:

@Exios @Steiney Today I've phoned to Italian support and they sent me a provisional firmware to install with standard procedure:

I've installed it and now I'm monitoring the situation.

@Renato_DM The firmware is working, Deco has stopped littering the the local network and reconnecting devices. In the Mikrotik report log, the errors have finally disappeared. I already wanted to sell Deco and buy mesh Xiaomi AX3000.
