Model: ER605 (TL-R605)  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 2.1.2

I have Created Multiple L2TP connections for ER605 V1 to ER605 V1 Routers and no problem occurs.

How ever when we purchased a ER605 V2 router, and created a L2TP connection to the ER605 V1, some TCP Error Occurs.

All the settings are the same, and there are 3 ER605 V2 routers connected to the V1 router that shows the same error, all other 4 ER605 V1 routers don't have this issue.

 

 

A Transport-level error has occurred when receiving results from the server. ( Provider: TPC Provider, Error:0 - The Semaphore timeout period has expired

 

Have anyone come accoss the same error with different Versions of ER605? 

anyone has a solution?

I tried to link up a ER605 V1(as VPN client) to ER605 V2 2.1.2 (as L2TP VPN server), but I can't see any error on router's web interface. 

 

May I know this error message comes from which application? 

On the router, the VPN tunnel can be created successfully right?

What is the firmware version of your ER605 V2?

the Firmware that we are using are as below

V1 Firmware 1.2.1

V2 Firmware 2.1.2

 

Yes the connection can be made, most ports and connections are open. 

how ever for some strange reason, when trying to use the software after logging in, with V2, the error above shows that msg.

 

the software we are using is a accounting software. there is no errors with other methods of VPN including Hamachi, PPTP, and OpenVPN, and L2TP that is connected to the same host from a V1 Client.
