Hello,
I need a Wireless Lan Controller for 6 APs (TP-Link EAP) but I dont like the cloud services.
I would be use the OC200 only locally.
Internet is required for OC200?
Can I only use the controller locally?

@d0ugmac1 I remembered I have see this note on this link https://www.tp-link.com/it/support/faq/2097/: "If Omada Controller or OC200 accidentally shuts down, then fast roaming will not work."
What do you think about it? Its our case?

The controller is needed for Fast Roaming, but whether the switch is managed or standalone should not matter. All the magic happens between the AP and the Controller.

@d0ugmac1 so, with the Switch in Standalone mode, how can I set the EAP? Controlled or Standalone mode? You consider I bought OC200. Thank you!

@z3n0 Correct. Then just ignore the switch on the controller, and configure it manually. The rest of it, ie the router and EAPs and their underlying subnets and VLANS are all done via controller. The only thing you need to be careful of is that you manually configure the switch correctly for your active subnets/VLANs. You might even be able to 'hide' the switch from the controller with a switch-based ACL preventing the switch from talking to the controller and vice versa.

@d0ugmac1 So, I will configure in this way:
- VLAN L3 on Router/Firewall
- Omada Switch in Standalone mode
- VLAN ID
- port association (tag/untag/pvid)
- eventually ACL to block switch communication
- OC200 in management VLAN
- EAPs in Controlled Mode
