Where: Settings>Profile>Groups>[GROUPNAME with TYPE of MAC Group]>Pagination

Why: Missing or Deleted item per page?

How to improve: Bring it back ?

Where: Side Panel

Why: Icon for Link Aggregation Group

How to improve: add icon for LAG per ID.

Re:Omada SDN Controller GUI Feedback - TERRIBLE DDNS UI

  @Hank21

Finally was able to play with this on the ER605v1.  I use freedns,afraid,org, and I REALLY had to think about how to 'fake' out the user interface to make it work!

The format of the update URL is:  http://sync,afraid,org/u/TOKEN/

I was able to eventually 'fake' this as follows:

I needed to have values for Username, Password and Domain, and each had their own checks, ie non-blank, at least one '.' etc.

My Update-URL thus became the following, because I HAD to incorporate all non-blank fields, even though I needed none!

http://[DOMAIN],org/[PASSWORD]/[USERNAME]/

Which does now work.

Please change behaviour to allow a fully custom URL which can OPTIONALLY incorporate any or all of the above 3 fields.

  @Hank21

I just updated my OC300 V1 to 5.9.32. All of my Omada devices work well. But the browser interface to the controller is unbelievably slow. If I click on anything it literally takes 5-10 seconds to respond. This is not the case using the iOS interfaces on my phone or tablet. What do you think is the problem?

Where: Site->Statistics->Device Monitoring

Why: No Information about the use of Devices in the network

How to improve: Show a tab with Devices under Statistics and list which devices have used how much traffic. Split into which protocols or services ( social media, streaming, gaming, file transfer etc. ) so that it can be quickly identified when a device is downloading/uploading disproportionately.

Ability to change the default icons for clients

Sadly 90% of my devices appear as the square with 3 dots, it would be nice if we could change the icon on the device itself to something more suitable.

Doesnt have to be a custom upload, even offering a selection of generic   Phone, Printer, Laptop, Desktop etc type icons would be excellent, like this one below

  @Ayusete

On the OC200 under CLIENTS.  If you click the 3 dots at the far right you can add the SIGNAL column to your view.

It appears as below

My current problems:

  1. Speed. The interface seems to take a while to fully load.
  2. Site separation. I only have one site, but I have to use an extra click to enter it. With the speed problems this is more annoying.

  @infinitytec

these are my issues with the update too. Everything works but the speed (delay) of the interface loading and the extra step to get to my site are annoying!
