Release Notes
New Feature/Enhancement
1. Added support for the following new features which were added on Omada Controller v5.9.
- Added support for shared bandwidth while using the "SSID Rate Limit" feature.
- Added support for IPv6 ACL/URL Filtering/Guest Network.
- Added support for IPv6 dial-up/Client address acquisition/MLD to unicast.
- Added support for LLDP (Link Layer Discovery Protocol).
- Added support for the Network Check.
Select an Omada EAP and perform a ping or traceroute test to check the network connectivity.
- Added support for Packet Capture.
Select an Omada EAP, set the capture filter, and perform a packet capture for troubleshooting. Omada Controller uses TCP port 29815 to download the packets.
- Added support for Terminal.
Select an Omada device (EAP or Switch), open Terminal, and then you can execute CLI or Shell commands. Omada Controller uses TCP port 29816 to create remote control terminall sessions with the devices.
- Added support for downloading device info.
Omada Controller uses TCP port 29815 to receive the information from the devices. You can download a device's info by opening its Properties window, going to Config > Manage Device, and clicking Download. This feature helps to confirm the operational status of Omada devices and to perform troubleshooting.
- Added support for the "Lock To AP" feature.
Open a client's Properties window, go to Config, enable the function, and select one or multiple EAPs, then the client will be locked to the selected EAPs. This feature helps prevent a static client from roaming frequently between multiple EAPs.
- Added support for RADIUS username report.
When the SSID is configured with WPA-Enterprise authentication, the username used by the wireless client will be displayed in the 802.1X Authentication column of the Clients page.

@Hank21, after upgrading my EAP615-Wall v1 access points to EAP615-WALL(EU&US&CA&JP&EG)_V1_1.2.2_Build 20231018 (Beta), several unidentified wired clients show up in the Client List. The MAC addresses seem to be related to the MAC addresses of the EAP615-Wall access points.
The access points themselves show up properly in the Device List:
This was also the case with EAP615-WALL(EU&US)_V1_1.2.0_Build20230711(Beta) but this is not the case with EAP615-Wall(EU)_V1_1.1.6 Build 20230330.

What do you mean the MAC address related of the EAP615-Wall? Could you take an example to show us the specific information?
May I know the firmware version of your controller?
How many EAP615-Wall do you have? How many unidentified wired clients occur suddenly in total?

The MAC address of the unidentified wired clients are almost similar of the actual MAC address. E.g.:
40-ED-00-E7-40-22 (Device)-> 46-ED-00-E7-40-23 (Client)
40-ED-00-E7-4A-18 (Device)-> 46-ED-00-E7-4A-19 (Client) and 4A-ED-00-E7-4A-18 (Client)
May I know the firmware version of your controller?
My OC200 controller has OC200(UN)_v1_1.26.3_20230906.
How many EAP615-Wall do you have?
I have five EAP615-Wall access points. These are connected to switch 1, port 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6. The first four all transmit three WLANs, the one on port 6 doesn't transmit a WLAN.
How many unidentified wired clients occur suddenly in total?
This seems to fluctuate. Sometimes it's three or four and just now it was seven. It looks like only the access points which transmit WLAN seem to show this behavior. Might it be related to the new Mesh capabilities? (By the way, I do not have Mesh enabled).

Yes I was having the exact same issues with my 655 walls (I have 2 ove them) All Cients on the 2.4 Ghz would start getting 100% packer loss and the whole 2.4 Ghz became unusable.

Which of the same issues are you specifically referring to?
Is it that you are also having the issue of unidentified wired clients appearing in the client list after upgrading with EAP615-Wall?
