  @Hank21

Does this new OCE200v1 version expose the SHA2 options in the IKEv2 proposal for VPN on ER605v1 Firmware:1.3.0?

Hi @PietroSpina

I just tested it in the lab, and it can expose the SHA2 options in the IKEv2 proposal for VPN on ER605v1.

Bug:

Router: ER7206 v1.0

controller: OC200

Before Upgrade: Only SFP WAN was active

After Upgrade: SFP WAN OK , WAN configured as "dynamic IP" , marked as failed for obvious reasons since it was never configured in the first place.

Expected behaviour: Never change enabled/disabled state of any WAN for any reason.

Hi @crrodriguez,

This is not a Bug, but an result of the optimized for WAN ports on the Controller v5.13. Thank you for your valuable feedback. I will record this request and report it to the developer team for evaluation.

Hi @crrodriguez

In Controller v5.13, the default status of WAN ports that can only be used as WAN ports is enabled and cannot be changed, refer to the following figure:

  @Hank21

Hi,

This update is showing on my Omada (Linux). Is it an official or beta? Do you know if, in this version, cloud access is working?

Thanks

  @Hank21

I have the DPI enabled on an ER8411 and setup a rule, filter and assigned networks to the "restrictions" list. I have a few questions:

1. When setting up the rule there is only an option of "qos" or leaving that box blank (which then shows as 'disabled'). Does not checking the qos box mean "block"? I don't want qos, I want to block those sites/applications - I did set a time frame to cover all day every day and I use that. The documentation is a little fuzzy on how this actually works.

2. I use PPSK and I want to make sure that ALL of the networks assigned to the PPSK profiles are blocked from those sites. I own a 24 unit apartment complex and have 24 networks with VLANs each limited to 5 IPs (so a max of 120 devices, which isn't that much). The problem is I can't add all of the networks - I added LAN and some of the others but then I reach the limit (8-10?). Is there a way I can apply this to ALL of the networks assigned to the PPSK profiles? Limiting this to around 10 when using PPSK this way is too restrictive and in my case the actual number of potential devices is low.

/

3. Any Christmas Gifts with IDS/IPS coming to the firmware soon on the ER8411? Pretty please! :) - The DCMA has found copyright infringement with some of my tenants downloading "The Marvels" and even though they have bad taste this is illegal. Since Omada promises this is good for "Hotel/Hospitality' we really need to be able to block things like torrents. I have already employed DPI and chosen all the Peer to Peer applications (part of question 1) but I don't think this is actually going to block torrents themselves, just the sites that you might visit to download clients which is not an effective way to block those.

Thanks!

Hi @OrangeStreet

Regarding the issues/doubts/suggestions, since they cover different aspects of the Omada Gateway and don't have much to do with the controller firmware in this thread, I'd encourage you click here to start a new thread to elaborate on one issue each time, so that we can stay topic and help you get the answers or solutions quickly, which may also help others who are interested in the topic.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. See you in the forums soon!
