  @MatthiasL22

For me is the hole point to use SDN, if I have to use stand alone I can use whatever router to do the job. so I hope this is fixable.. smiley

@Clive_A

I did the final test with 1.1.1 beta firmware this weekend, what I also discovered is that devices on remote site that have been adopted through the VPN tunnel have random heartbeat missing, it moves from device to device as the pictures show.

As a comment, I can say that this router has always had vpn problems. I reported this in November 2022 and I then received this as a response from support. from the response, it does not seem that the problems were unknown to support a year ago.

sorry I didn't read the fine print at the bottom of the email, But i do now :-)

so i have deleted

I think the reason why it was not followed up later was that we could not replicate this issue in our test environment. Like your email or other posts, we require a backup for replicating the issue. If there is any, we build up the network based on your description, then seldom can we replicate what you reported.

I read what you said back then. That (your) case was never answered or resolved.

I have reported what you said and I am waiting for a response from the dev team. They'll test it based on your diagram and setup you said.

  @Clive_A Can you please confirm that the IPv6 ACL support means that inbound connections to IPv6 addresses will now be blocked by default? This was one of the major issues with the ER8411, and I had to swap to a different router (a PC running OpenWrt) to get proper firewalled IPv6 connectivity. I'll be happy to switch back to the ER8411 if IPv6 ACL is working well.

My ISP doesn't provide a static IPv4 prefix... It changes every time I reconnect. I want to allow inbound connections to a particular port on one of my systems. Does the IPv6 support in this beta allow a fixed suffix to be specified for a particular host (via DHCPv6)? and does the firewall let you allow a port just based on an IPv6 suffix (so that the rule keeps working even if the prefix changes)?

Thanks in advance.

2. Add support for IPv6 RA (Router Advertisement) configuration for LAN.

I was hoping this meant that we could configure router advertisements for a ULA (Unique Local Address) range, but it looks like that's not supported yet, or at least I can't find anywhere to configure it.

16. Add support for link-local addresses or unique local addresses of IPv6 DNS on the LAN side.

This doesn't appear to work in the web UI. I get an error "Invalid format":

It works fine if I modify the JavaScript to not perform the validation though.

Yes please.

Another bug report: When configuring IPv6 via the Omada controller, the "RA Valid Lifetime" and "RA Preferred Lifetime" fields don't have default values.
