Solution to ER605 V2 2.2.2 Firmware Unable to Access the Admin Web Due to Force to HTTPS

Overview

Upgrading the ER605 v2 firmware to 2.2.2, it may result some users would not be able to access their admin page due to the force redirection to HTTPS. As a new security fix on this version, the router will force to connect you to HTTPS.  If you disabled the HTTPS before, you cannot access the page properly. View more >>

 

Solution to ER605 V2 2.2.0 Firmware Frequently Disconnects From Omada Controller V5.9

Overview

Upgrading the ER605 v2 firmware to 2.1.3 or 2.2.0 may result in the ER605 v2 entering a frequent "Disconnected" state from Omada Controller v5.9 or earlier versions. Though the internet still works, you cannot manage the router. TP-Link is actively investigating this matter to identify and resolve the underlying cause as quickly as possible. So far, a workaround has been provided to help temporarily fix this issue. View more >>

ER605 v2 2.2.0 firmware upgrade may cause OpenVPN failure issue with error "Common errors for VPN policies". Solution to ER605 V1 1.3.0 Firmware Got Many Logs of "TCP no-Flag attack" Issue

Overview

ER605 v1 1.3.0 firmware has added the detection and interception for TCP no-Flag attacks from the WAN IN direction, the detection is a bit frequent. You may ignore the excessive "TCP no-Flag attack" warnings until the future firmware optimizes the log event notification. Or disable the firewall settings of Block TCP Scan (Stealth FIN/Xmas/Null) if you prefer to just stop the router blocking the TCP no-Flag attack. View more >>
