Hi.

I'm trying to figure out my oddly slow WiFi speeds on my EAP115 network.

Devices are:

3 x EAP115

TG-108PE switch

OC200

ER605

Virgin Media Hub5 in modem mode, 350mb/s down, 35mb/s up.

CAT6 throughout the house.

All three APs are on the same SSID and channel. One is out in the garage (concrete and steel Faraday cage). One downstairs. One upstairs.

LAN performance is fine as 350mb/s available on all ports via the switch, via the router, and direct connect to the modem.

The strange thing I'm trying to figure out is WLAN speeds are 35mb/s down, 35mb/s up on every device.

There's no latency or PL issues, connections are stable, I've tried isolating the issue by testing each AP with the others turned off. The APs show in the dashboard with plenty of memory spare. Everything looks healthy.

The only other oddity is the switch auto-configs to 100mb/s for the APs on POE ports 2-4, even plugging them in directly on a short lead gives 100mb/s auto.

Any hints or tips where I should look next greatly appreciated!

Hello @DuncH

The maximum speed you can actually get is already limited by the EAP's 100M Ethernet port, so if you need higher speeds, this product may not be able to meet your needs.
You can consider these EAPs which has 1000M Ethernet ports.
