Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.6.0 0.9.1 v009e.0 Build 220518 Rel.41627n

Hello,

I want to connect my home network remotely using Archer VR600 router's TP-Link Cloud dynamic dns feature. I cannot employ it as modem router because the ISP provided me with another one and I don't want to bother configuring Archer VR600 in order to replace it. Therefore I plan to configure Arcer VR600 as wireless router, link with TP-Link account and forward incoming connections to which ever device I wish. The problem is, eventhough Archer VR600 seems to be connected to internet as seen in the status screen, I'm unable to monitor credential fields that I need in order to connect TP-Link Cloud account. The sad thing is; I successfuly configured the same device before in order to access local HDD connected via USB, which also included signing in TP-Link Cloud account, with the same setup before. I tried to configure the same settings as far as I remember however I'm still unsuccessful. ISP modem is connected via WAN port of Archer VR600. Archer VR600 configurations are below.

Thank you in advance.

If you use your VR600 behind the ISP modem router you're introducing a double NAT in your LAN (VR600 is with a private IP address on its Internet port).

To access the WebGUI of VR600, which is behind the ISP modem router you could use DDNS on the ISP modem router and port-forward the VR600 remote management port:

That means on the ISP modem you should port-forward TCP port 80 to 192.168.1.93.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".
