Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.1 Build 20231207 Rel.61384

For the Netherlands / FYI,

The Delta/Caiway STB works **without** VLAN configuration in my Omada network.

I have the following chain of devices:

Internet connection: XGSPON Fiber network Delta/Caiway

1. Nokia XS-010G-Q.  (ONT with new Firmware updated with help from a Delta/Caiway support tech. Other ONTs or SFP(+) modules are supported)

2. Omada ER605 (TL-R605) Router

3. Omada TL-SG2210P PoE desktop switch

4. Omada SDN OC200 controller (Running the latest Beta controller version 5.13.30.10)

The router is adopted in the controller.

After trying a lot of different VLAN settings, I accidentally left my TV on and hooked up the Set Top Box to the network. TV channels just started playing :)) Later I removed all the VLAN settings for IPTV (Vlan 101) and the STB is still working without any problems.

For more information on using your own Modem/Router on the the Delta/Caiway network, also check the Tweakers forum:

Hope this helps in making choices for your own hardware/network setup at home.

Thank you @Clive_A ,

Additionally,

Although Delta/Caiway still states in their documentation they do not support IPV6 yet, they actually do. I've configured it like this:

IPv6

Omada Controller -> Site -> Settings -> Wired Networks -> Internet

IPv6: Enable
Connection Type: Dynamic IP (SLAAC/DHCPv6)

Get IPv6 Address: Automatically
Prefix Delegation: Enable
Prefix Delegation Size: (64)

DNS Address: Get from ISP Dynamically

MAC Address: Use Default MAC Address

For LAN DHCP use:

Omada Controller -> Site -> Settings -> Wired Networks -> LAN

Edit your existing DHCP Server, scroll down and expand:

Configure IPv6
IPv6 Interface Type: SLAAC+Stateless DHCP

Prefix: Get from Prefix delegation

IPv6 Prefix Delegation Interface: WAN

IPv6 Prefix ID: 0

Address Prefix: (This will populate automatically)

DNS Server: (I have entered them manually, you can find them in from the Router/details tab, simply from your devices list)

Now my DHCP client devices in my network obtain an IPV6 address automatically and immediately.

Check if it works for instance with: https://test-ipv6.com/
