Model: TL-SG3452
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.4 Build 20220708 Rel.53227

Hello to all... (and sorry for my English)...

I have a TL-SG3452 Switch and the IP is 192.168.0.150

Also I have create the :

VLan 1: 192.168.0.0 - Management.

VLan 10: 192.168.10.0 - PCs

The settings on some ports are:

P1 : VLan 1 - Untagged - Admit All PVID:1

P2 : VLan 1 - Untagged - Admit All PVID:1

...

P5 : VLan 10 - Untagged - Admit All PVID:10

P6 : VLan 10 - Untagged - Admit All PVID:10

The PCs takes the ips that belongs to VLans...

When I connect a pc (pc1) on Port 1 takes ip: 192.168.0.xx

When I connect a pc (pc2) on Port 5 takes ip: 192.168.10.yy

Are OK with that...

PC1 can ping Switch, PC2 and it has Internet... So far OK , but

PC2 can ping PC1, it has Internet...  BUT CANNOT ping Switch

Switch can ping PC1, DCs, Other Switches, and all devices on the same vlan (192.168.0.xx) BUT CANNOT ping PC2, 8.8.8.8 and other vlans...

The settings on Route are :

the default: 192.168.0.0 / 24 ---> 192.168.0.150

and I added: 0.0.0.0 / 0 ---> 192.168.0.150

but the problem exists...

From Switch cannot ping others vlans... and from others vlans cannot ping the switch...

Can you assist me please... Thx you all...

Best Regards

Dimitris.

Hi @Dimitris_T

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Can you show me your VLAN config? Network diagram as well? Please make the VLAN on the diagram which would be great.

Management VLAN? Is the VLAN VLAN interface? Is that what you are referring to in this context?

So, as for now, I cannot judge the issue yet. Here are some unclear things:

1. If your devices can get Internet from VLAN10, which means it should be able to access the Internet. So, forget about the ping 8.8.8.8. Will you be able to ping the VLAN 10 gateway IP?

If good, that means PC2's firewall is blocking the previous pings. Fix the firewall.

2. VLAN1, all other devices in the VLAN1 can access the Internet? If yes, they can ping 8.8.8.8 okay?

Static Routing can be changed to the next hop of your gateway IP. Try if this works.

Let me know your results.

Hi Clive_A

The Network Diagram is:

Router : 192.168.0.1 ---> Firewall: 192.168.0.250 ---> Switch TPLink: 192.168.0.150 ---> and the Pcs that is on that Switch.

Vlan (1) : 192.168.0.0 :  is the default VLan.

Vlan (10): 192.168.10.0 :  I create it for some PCs.

Here some images from TPLink.

VLans:

When I connect a PC to Port 1-4 (with VLan (1) ) I have Internet, I ping 8.8.8.8, All Switches, and all other Device on the Company.

When I connect the PC to Port for ex. 5 (with VLan (10)) I have Internet, I can ping other devices on any VLan... for example Gateway, Firewall, Printers, PCs, Switches...

BUT I CANNOT ping the Switch TPLink that is connected... Only the TPLink I CANNOT ping...

I have change the route... and still cannot ping the Switch

Inside The Switch from Network Diagnostics I cannot ping 8.8.8.8 and others devices that are not belongs to VLan1.

Ping Result 8.8.8.8:

You should check this guide out.

I start to think this is a problem with your static routing and multi-net NAT. There does not look like a problem with the switch.
