[Deco be85] - Issue after lastest update 1.0.16 - Regular signal lost on satellite
[Deco be85] - Issue after lastest update 1.0.16 - Regular signal lost on satellite
Hello,
After latest update to firmware
from 10.0.15 to 10.0.16, I regularly lost signal on one satellite.
No issue before update, and nothing else was change
It-'s possible to fix this issue ?
Moving the satellite is not a solution for me.
Best regards
Matthias

Yes, Deco BE85_V1 and V2 shared the same firmware download link.
Deco BE85_V1/V2_1.0.18_Build_20240409
Modifications and Bug Fixes:
1. Improved the stability of the system.
2. Added the IoT Network information on the web management interface.
3. Fixed the bug that the PPPoE connection failed to dial up after turning the IPTV VLAN feature.
Please let me know whether the 1.0.18 firmware helps with the current issue.
Best regards.

Testing the beta firmware.
I will give you an update in 24h, to let you know if the stability is better.
My link between the 2 BE85 nodes is done with ethernet cables, with a 10 gbe switch in the middle (Trendnet TEG-S750)

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.
When I checked your TP-Link email, I noticed the current firmware is still on the 1.0.16 official version.
Did you downgrade from the 1.0.18 beta to 1.0.16, not 1.0.15 instead?
By the way, the official 1.0.18 was released a few days ago, if possible, it is also suggested to install the official 1.0.18 to see whether it made any difference:

Hi,
I have tested the official firmware 18.0 1 i don't have connectivity/stability issues anymore. Except the deco app receives no updates after a day or two about current connected clients. The only way to resolve is is by restarting the deco network. Then it works again for a few days.

Hello David,
Sorry for the long time before awnsering.
I think (but not sure) the route cause of my issue was not the new firmware directly, but the update process.
In my case, I set on some device a static IP.
This one whithtout reservation.
Inside the update process. my deco satellite was take the same IP address, I don't know why, this situation must be not appear normally.
Result, the satellite lost network each time.
It's only a theory and probably only for my issue.
Regards
