Deco App shows camera C520WS offline
From what i gather MANY folks are complaining about disconnect (going offline) and i have 4 C520WS all doing the same. Strangely, i look at Deco App and shows my devices going off line & back on line, very random but when offline if i take the Tapo App i can see and control the camera so technically it’s not off line even though Deco reports it off line.
I wish someone at TP-Link take time to setup a mesh system and cameras and see by themselves the issue, then FIX IT.
PS. signal are all strong, so it ain’t power related. i guess the Deco are not seeing “heartbeat” from camera thus thinking it's offline.
PS 2. Would i recommend Deco/TP-Link…. at the moment it’s a big no. Product is not reliable.

Hi, Nice to see you again.
A new firmware 1.2.8 has been released for Deco XE75_V2 a few weeks ago. It has improved the overall network performance of Deco XE75_V2.
If possible, it is suggested to install this version first.
Deco XE75_V2_1.2.8 Build 20240328
Thank you very much and best regards.

Thanks @David-TP nice to see hear from you again. I will give this new firmware a try. BTW... what about the X50-Outdoor(1.0)? I have this firmware 1.2.5 Build 20231121 Rel. 68541 is there a newer one too matching the XE75 branch.

thank for sharing, i've installed Deco XE75_V2_1.2.8 Build 20240328 and so far much better then prior releases, I'm barely receiving Connect/Disconnect Notifications but i'm still getting sometimes the cameras showing as off line then they come back on line.

@Zigaroo Hi, Thank you very much for your update.
I checked with the Smart Home Forum moderators about your feature request for scheduling the viewpoints.
She did provide a workaround.
1. Tapo C520WS should support Pan/Tilt control.
2. Then you could set smart action: use the time as a Trigger and choose different viewpoints as the Action.
For example
Thank you very much and best regards.
