Deco and powerline
Hello
I have deco x50-4g as a router and I add a Powerline kit AV1000 TL-WPA7817.
I would like to use the mesh technology in order to do not have to switch between networks but easymesh button on tpPLC app doesn't work.
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks

Hi, replacing Deco with an EasyMesh router, such as Archer NX200/MR505 would be the right choice:
https://www.tp-link.com/en/easymesh/product-list/#c-5g-4g-routers
There are also Powerline Backhaul Deco units, like Deco PX50. But it needs to be set as the main Deco, not working as a satellite Deco for Deco X50-4G to establish Powerline Backhaul.
Thank you very much and best regards.

Easymesh systems are not compatible with Deco mesh systems. If you want to keep x50-4g, you may wish to return TL-WPA7817 kit and look for different options.

Thank you @Alexandre.
I think I will replace the Deco with a easymesh router.
I need both mesh WiFi and powerline technologies because I have thick walls and in order to have WiFi in all the rooms I need to use Powerline, and in order to have the same net I need mesh.
Is is correct or is there another solution?
Thank you

Thank you @David-TP
In the end I have decided for the MR505 and the mesh works fine.
I have some problem with 4g connection though.
I'll have to start a new topic.
