I was using a Plusnet hub 2 originally with a Full fibre package (900mbps) but i wasnt happy with the speed it gave out on wifi connection was only around 80 , so i bought this router now i get a much better speed around 200-450 but i get really laggy game experiences and my latency is way more than it was and im finding it hard to understand what the problem is now surely the Plusnet standard hub wont provide a lower ping than this router 

 

i havent got a 6Ghz card yet but ill get one soon currently using a mercusys wifi 6 card dual band

If you get high ping from the router, please try the suggestions of the link below:

What can I do when I get high ping value?

 

 

If the above suggestions cannot help you solve your issue, please reply us with the following information.

    1.    The results of the above Suggestions
    2.    The screenshot of ping test when trying to ping the public IP address on the router and ping LAN IP address of TP-Link router on your computers.
    3.    Brand name, system version of client devices which have high ping value.
    4.    Model number, hardware version and firmware version of TP-Link router.
