Model: Tapo L510B
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have a bulb which I had coming on and off with a schedule - worked no problem.

I have now bought a motion sensor - T100 - this has been set to control two lamps (via multiple device setup), this works fine.

The schedule on the original bulb will not work, the on/off schedule starts after the sensor's schedule ends,

ie

Motion sensor set to operate between 18.00 - 23.57

On/off scedule - 23.59 - 05.30

Is this actually possible or am I doing something wrong.

Thanks in advance

  @Nitecard

I noticed there is an error 'Some Actions Invalid', please double-check the connection of your smart devices, if they're offline from cloud (local only), the automation won't run.

Please click the automation and take a screenshot of the settings in the automation. You can upload the pictures to your personal cloud drive like a shared album, then send the link here.

As long as the effective time set for the two rules does not overlap, then they will not conflict with each other.

What are the rules you set?

  @Wayne-TP Hi Wayne

That is what I thought.

Is this what you mean by rules?

Motion sensor set to operate between 18.00 - 23.57

On/off schedule - 23.59 - 05.30

Lamps stay on for 2 mins, could that cause the overlap?

Thanks

David

Please share some screenshots of your settings. Did you create an automation for the motion sensor and the light bulb, to turn on/off the light when motion sensor is triggered?
