Model: Tapo L510E
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi got a new wifi last week. I tried to connect my Tapo L510E bulb, but it wouldn't work. I used the Tapo app to remove the bulb, then tried to add it again. Didn't work.

I have followed the steps, tapped that the bulb did not blink. No help.

I have tried to re set it, switching off and on 3, then 5 times. No help.

The bulb is not showing on either my phones Bluetooth or WiFi networks.

The bulb still lights up, but won't connect to Tapo app, or Alexa anymore.

Is there anything that I haven't tried?

  @ClaireNI

Do not switch the bulb too quickly. Give a small pause when switching it back on, and a longer pause between each off&on, for example, off -- (1s) -- on, (1.5s), off -- (1s) -- on.

How to reset the Tapo smart bulb

If the smart bulb still can't be reset -- smart bulb default wifi not visible, this device might need to be replaced, contact retailer or the local TP-Link support to proceed with the warranty.
