Model: ES205GP
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0

I got a while ago a TP Link ES105GP Easy Managed Switch for my cameras and one access point (EAP653, EU).

Since these devices use static IPs assigned over DHCP, I asked myself why the omada software controller is not showing their IPs, even since they are static.

I read about the hardware restrictions of the easy managed switches but that should be possible since it is static.. in theory what I know it should be also possible that the DHCP server, in my case the router [ER7412-M2] should be also possible to display the IP assigned to a device even when it is connected to such an easy managed switch, even since I have a 2.5GbE Switch that is entirely unmanaged there the controller is also possible to get the devices IP.

So my question am I missing something, or is that feature missing in the controller, that is displays, the devices IP, when it is static on an easy managed switch?

No. It does not. Natively not supported.

Easy Managed switch does not support ARP so it doesn't list the client's IP.

Feature request: Easy Managed switch should collect client IP and report to the controller

Ways to workaround this are planned. They think we should change something on the router so it displays them from the router side. Not about the switch. But let the controller to read from the router display IPs.
