Hello TP-Link Team & Community,

@Steven.Zhang  @Clive_A

I recently came across TP-Link’s Omada & VIGI Unified Networking Solution, which integrates Omada networking devices and VIGI surveillance cameras into a single platform—similar to UniFi. This seems like a great step towards a seamless, centralized networking and security system!

I would love to learn more about:
🔹 How Omada and VIGI devices work together in a unified interface
🔹 If there’s an official release timeline for this integrated solution
🔹 Any specific models that will support this integration from launch

For more details, I found this official page: Omada & VIGI at ISC West 2025

Also, here’s a video showcasing the solution: Omada & VIGI Overview

Additionally, would it be possible for TP-Link to provide a demo account or early access trial for community members who are interested in testing this system? Having hands-on experience would be valuable in understanding its real-world applications.

Looking forward to insights from the TP-Link team and other community members!

Hi TP-Link Team & Community,

I recently came across the new "Omada & VIGI Unified Networking and Surveillance" concept, and I must say—it looks quite similar to what UniFi Cloud is offering. However, TP-Link’s direction with Omada & VIGI clearly targets the B2B segment, which is great.

That said, I believe there’s room for improvement in how this is being positioned.

Currently, Omada and VIGI are still treated as two separate product lines. In my opinion, merging them under a single unified platform called "Omada & VIGI Unified Networking and Surveillance" would make a lot more sense. This would help simplify branding, create a smoother user experience, and position TP-Link as a serious player in the enterprise-grade cloud-managed market—just like UniFi has done.

Also, I feel this new unified platform might be license-based, which may not suit every user or business. If that’s the case, not everyone may adopt it easily. My personal suggestion is to continue with a merged Omada & VIGI ecosystem and discontinue the separate 'Omada' and 'VIGI' branding, rather than introducing another cloud-managed system under a new name.

Looking forward to hearing what the community and TP-Link team think!

🇮🇳 India Licensing Support Needed for Omada Central – No Purchase Option Available

Post Content:
Hello TP-Link Team & Community,

I've recently gained access to Omada Central and activated the trial licenses (Standard Network – 10 devices). The unified interface is impressive, and I’m eager to transition from local Omada Controller to this cloud-based solution.

However, I’ve run into a major issue:

➡️ There is no way to purchase or extend Omada Central licenses online in India.
➡️ All my 30-day trial licenses have now expired, as shown in the attached screenshot.
➡️ TP-Link India website and partner portals offer no Omada Central license options.

My Setup:

  • Controller: Omada Cloud-Based Controller (via TP-Link Portal)

  • Devices: ER7206, SG2428P, SG2210P, EAP610 (x2)

  • Region: 🇮🇳 India

  • Use Case: Multi-site (3 locations) network with VIGI cameras + Omada gateway, switch, and APs.

Could TP-Link please advise:

  • ✅ How Indian users can purchase or renew licenses?

  • 🛒 Will TP-Link India or authorized partners start offering these licenses soon?

  • 🔄 Is there any manual way to extend trial for further evaluation?

Looking forward to guidance from @Steven.Zhang @Clive_A or anyone from the TP-Link team.

Thanks in advance!
