Hello,

I would like to have a sanity check before buying, to be sure that everything will work as I expect.

My main building is fully deployed with the Omada systems (switches and APs). I have a second building, 30 meters apart, that right now is connected with an old tplink wifi bridge, with manually configured access points.

I'm planning to replace the old wifi bridge with an EAP211-Bridge Kit and install omada compatible access points in the second building.

Will I be able to manage all the networking gears (switches and APs) in the second building from the omada controller deployed in the main building like they were connected with a cable?

Will I be able to transparently pass all the VLANs and WiFi networks that I have on the main building to the second building? Basically, Can I assume that the bridge will be like a cable connection or are there any pitfalls I should be aware of?

Thank you for your help

best regards

ab12

>>>Yes and yes.

You will need to plug an Omada SDN switch into the second EAP211 bridge KIT.
