Model: ER707-M2
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.4 Build 20241031 Rel.78300

Hi,

I'm trying to add failover into my network. I do have old E3372h-153 laying around (so compatible one). It's "stick"/modem version. Modem is recognized. Pin is typed and accepted. IP is provided. But it's still offline. What am I doing wrong? USB modem is selected as WAN, Primary WAN is disconnected. Modem in PC is connecting with Network and providing internet.

In omada network tools I can ping any website from gateway. But I can't ping anything from AP (all packets lost). I have no clue what to do next. Maybe you guys have some ideas. Thanks!

.

@Clive_A Thanks for suggestion, but I found it before that. But looks like it's not connected to failover at all. When I use simple load balancing 1:1 with main WAN it is still connected, but offline.

But I get interesting warning in logs:

Type: PPTP/L2TP Client Connection Failed

Log: [Failed]Gateway: ER707-M2 failed to connect to the server because LCP negotiation failed and the authentication request was rejected.

I have strange feeling it's related with my usb modem (E3372h-153). In theory it is supported.

Quick question, I saw here on the forum that prefereble mode is "stick" one, the modem mode. But I saw on reddit that people are using those modems with Omada system in "router" mode (the one with IP). Was this "stick" suggestion just something old I read here? Maybe I should try with other mode.
