Hi Friends!

 

I checked the product specifications page, and did a search before posting.   Does the ER8411 support hot standby / failover ?

 

I can't confirm either way so far.

If you mean the power supply, hot switch, yes this model supports it. 

It does not require the configuration. Simply get two power bricks installed and be ready on this model.

It supports link backup (load balancing).

 

It is mentioned in the Advanced Features under the specifications page.

No ER8411 does not have hot standby, but you can have one as a cold spear, it's quick to adopt if the router breaks, the downside is that it requires you to be onsite.
