Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 5.15.24.17

I have the latest version of the omada software controller and I deployed 2 Omada ER605 Gateways at different locations. I had them set up on my software controller in different sites. I logged into the cloud management portal and I realised that all devices including both Gateways are "disconnected" on my controller including an EAP 610. I know the Gateway is not turned off in one of the locations because I have a Deco Mesh WiFi connected to the gateway and I can see them online on the Deco app and working fine.

I'm new to Omada so maybe there's something I'm doing wrong. Please help.

Hi  @Mr_Larry

How is the controller connected to the devices? What's the controller's IP address?

Please refer to the following for some troubleshooting:

What should I do when the Omada Controller (V4) fails to adopt the devices?

If still failed, please let us know the troubleshooting results mentioned in the link.

  @Mr_Larry

You need some port forwarding.

Here's a guide : How to Manage Omada Devices at Different Sites Using Omada SDN Controller via Port Forwarding (Controller 5.0 or Above)

These are the ports you need :

To be able to update the firmware outside of LAN you need to port forward the HTTPS port you use on the controller too (By default its 8043 on software controller and 443 on hardware controller).

Or maybe you can create a Site-To-Site VPN connection between the sites so you don't have to port forward but I'm not sure as I use the port forwarding method. Maybe someone else from forum or TP-Link can confirm that it works.

Omada Controller : v5.15.24.17 Gateways : ER8411 V1.0, ER7206 v1.0 and ER605 V2.0 Switches : SG3428X v1.30 & TL-SG2008P v1.0 APs : EAP773 v1.0, EAP620HD v1.0 and EAP610 v3.0

Hi  @Mr_Larry

How is the controller connected with the Omada devices? Please share some screenshots of the device page for the two sites.

Also, please give us the topology of the network.
