Hi Guys,

I have 3 x Deco XP20 running in "router" mode and the landline router in "bridge". This is working well to 35 devices, some using the SSID_IOT (2.4ghz) separate Wifi .

I am changing to a 5G/LTE ISP and the router supplied will be a TP-Link Archer NX200 which does not have "bridge" mode. I need to change my current mesh to "AP" mode to run through this. I intend to switch off the Wifi on the NX200 and set my main XP20 to "AP" mode via the phone app,  Will the XP20 retain my SSIDs for both nets (main and IOT) so I do not have to completely redo my 35 devices? Anything I have missed? suggestions welcome.

Kind regards

YogiB

Hi, switching the operation mode will keep the original SSIDs and password. Users don't need to reconnect their mobile devices.

Best regards.
