EAP225 Preconfigured Issues

Just installed a EAP215 data bridge kit today to a garage office from the main house, no issues with that bit. I Set it up using the free essentials Omada cloud controller through the APP. But then I tried to add a EAP225 WiFi AP to the receiver end of the bridge kit. Both powered by their own Poe bricks. And it just says Preconfigured and won’t connect to the system. Done quite a few of these recently and never had this issue before. Obviously tried resetting the AP and forget AP etc. Used the paperclip on the reset. But just getting a flashing green light on AP and won’t adopt to network. Any ideas please?

Just to clarify, to successfully reset the EAP225, we need to press and hold the reset button for around 8 seconds, you will see the LED status changing. Please make sure the operation is correct.
Here is another try: plug the EAP225-outdoor into the same device/router as the main unit of the EAP bridge KIT, and see if the same issue persists.

Glad to hear that.
The cloud controller's management is highly dependent on the network environment. There may have been unknown network factors blocking the EAP's management requests, but we can't pinpoint the exact cause with the current information.
